ماذا يوجد وراء هذا المنع الأبدي؟!
السبب؛ هو أن إبليس؛ لم يكن يريد أن يرى الإله حقا ولذلك الله منعه من أن يراه، لأن المحبّ لمن أحبّ مطيع وإبليس؛ عصى ربّه ولو كان يبتغي لقاءه، لكان عليه طاعته، ثانيا؛ لأن إبليس مخلوقًا حاسدا وظهر الحسد عليه، لما قال عن نفسه؛ أنه خير من آدم، والإله كان يعلم؛ أن إبليس هدفه من وراء طلب رؤية الخالق؛ هو أن يقارن بين نفسه وبين نفس الإله وجواب ذلك في الحديث؛
“من أحبّ لقاء الله؛ أحبّ الله لقاءه”
أتباع الشيطان أيضا يقولون عن أنفسهم أنهم أفضل من غيرهم، السؤال المطروح هو؛
هل تألّم إبليس جدا؛ لأن الإله منعه من أن يراه؟!
الجواب هو: نعم، ضلّ إبليس حاقدًا كل الوقت.
والسؤال الآخر هو؛
كيف كانت ردّة فعل إبليس؛ لما يئس من أن يرى الله؟!
لما منع الإله إبليس أن يراه؛ تعاظم إبليس واِعتقد أن المولى حين رفض أن يراه؛ يعني هذا أن الإله كما قال إبليس؛ أقل شأنا منه وإبليس هو الأفضل، وهذا القول المقدّس يبيّن ذلك: “أم أنا خير من هذا: ” إبليس هو صاحب مقولة “أنا خير منه” وتلك المقولة؛ ظهرت مجددا في زمن الفرعون الأكبر وهو فرعون موسى الرسول، إبليس كان يرافق ابنه الفرعون الأكبر، كما كان يرافق ابنه ابن بابلة الملقّب بالنمروذ؛ وهو الذي حاول أن يحرق إبراهيم الرسول.
هذه الآية تبيّن حرفيا وبشكل واضح نيّة إبليس؛ وهي أنه كان يريد أن يقارن بين نفسه وبين نفس الإله الخالق، كما يفعل مع كل المخلوقات، ولما منعه المولى وعجز عن فعل شيء، قال: “أنا خير منه” وكان يقصد الحسود بكلامه في الباطن؛ الإله أيضا، وأثبت إبليس بكلامه؛ أنه لم يرى ربّه قط وأن ذلك جعله يتألّم، ويتفوّه بما في نفسه من حقد.

What does this Eternal Prohibition conceal?
The reason lies in the fact that Iblis never truly desired to behold God. For this, God denied him the vision, for whoever loves obeys the One they love. Iblis chose disobedience. Had he sincerely yearned for the Divine encounter, he would have submitted to His command.
Furthermore, Iblis was a being marked by envy, and his jealousy revealed itself when he claimed superiority over Adam. God knew that Iblis’s request to witness the Creator concealed his true intention: to compare himself to the Divine Essence. The answer is found in the sacred saying:
“Whoever loves to meet God, God loves to meet him.”
The followers of Satan also claim superiority over others.
A question thus arises:
Was Iblis deeply afflicted by God’s prohibition that barred him from beholding Him?
The answer is: yes. Iblis remained consumed by resentment for all eternity.
Another question emerges:
How did Iblis react when he despaired of ever beholding God?
When God denied him the vision, Iblis was overtaken by excess. He imagined that the Divine refusal signified, according to the measure of his delusion, that God Himself was of an essence inferior to his own, and that he, Iblis, was the superior one. This conviction later resurfaced in the proclamation he inspired:
“Am I not superior to this one?”
Iblis is the originator of the ominous maxim: “I am better than him,” a maxim echoed again in the era of the greatest Pharaoh, the Pharaoh of Moses.
Iblis accompanied his son, that Pharaoh, just as he accompanied another of his sons, the Babylonian known as Nemrod, the one who sought to cast the prophet Abraham into the flames.
This verse reveals with complete clarity the secret intention of Iblis: he aspired to measure himself against the Creator Himself, just as he seeks to compare with all beings. And when God deprived him of that possibility, leaving him incapable of fulfilling his intent, he declared: “I am better than him,” directing within himself, with all the envy he carried, this judgment toward God as well.
Through these words, Iblis demonstrated that he had never beheld the Face of his Lord, and that this eternal deprivation wounded him so deeply that it drove him to pour out the hatred that consumed his very being.
