Arabism Under Fire

Author and Thinker Dr. Hakima Djadouni State of Algeria
A Sociological Critical Reading into the Crisis of Strategic Efficacy
The Arabs are being scorched by the fires of Persia, the sacred is ablaze with the fire of the Zionists, and North Africa is drowning in a hell of wildfires.
The Arabs possess no capacity to respond, while Palestinians live under a hail of Jewish shells, and the states of North Africa stand helpless before thousands of fires devouring their forests and lands, knowing neither who ignites them nor how to extinguish them.
The Arab peoples wander drunk with the practice of the people of Lot, while the Jews dominate the levers of global influence, the Christians control the balances of power, and Persia secretly allies with the Romans, then proceeds to invade the Arabs.
Fire is everywhere; a fire on earth, a fire in the sky, a fire in politics, and a fire of lust raging within the Muslim... until the entire Arab scene has become a mass of flames, where no sooner does one fire die down than another erupts.
The Arabs today appear like a nation struck by a whirlwind containing fierce fire and burned, while its people dispute over who wins the cup: "Messi the Queer" or the Spanish number 19 player.
In the East, wars and conflicts continue, and the peoples pay the price with their blood and homelands. In Palestine, killing and destruction persist, while statements of condemnation turn into a political ritual that wails more than grieving mothers, devoid of deterrent actions. In other parts of the region, regional and international powers exchange influence and military messages, and the Arab citizen remains the first and ultimate loser, without war and without reward.
In North Africa, however, there is another scene no less tragic. Thousands of fires devour forests, plains, and agricultural lands year after year; investigations prove that some result from human criminal factors, unrelated to negligence or climatic conditions. Yet the recurring question remains: Why does the disaster recur on a larger scale? And why does the capacity for protection and response appear so limited?
How can a state track a citizen's movement through his telephone, yet prove incapable of protecting thousands of hectares of forests? How can it fail to expose those responsible when criminal intent is suspected? Why do firefighting means remain limited across all North African states, to the point that a volunteer carries a tree branch, a drinking water hose, or a bucket of water to face a wall of flames?
Meanwhile, billions continue to be spent on football, entertainment, dancing, female singers, and shows, while specialized firefighting aircraft, preventive infrastructure, and disaster management plans remain almost non-existent or far below what necessity demands.
Yet the tragedy does not stop at governments; the peoples have also been afflicted with weakness—a form of collective sedation. Stadiums fill to capacity, while environmental protection campaigns and voluntary work look for volunteers and find none. A football team loses, and social media platforms burn with rage; thousands of trees burn, and only a handful of children move. It is as though losing a cup is more important than losing a forest, or as though the burning of natural wealth has no bearing on the future of one's children. And those who claim that if borders were opened to them they would liberate Al-Aqsa have not liberated their own land from the fire that consumed the green and the dry, nor have they liberated themselves from sodomy and drugs.
Then some come out to talk to you about power and deterrence; what deterrence is this?
If those states find it difficult to contain a expanding fire during peacetime, and if they rely on modest means to face an environmental disaster, what will their situation be if they face a comprehensive war of fire and iron, requiring integrated defense, crisis management, and complex logistics?
The state that did not invest in prevention before the disaster is currently paying the price after it occurred. And the people who settled for watching discovered too late that today's fire made no distinction between their house and their neighbor's house.
Algeria recorded more than 3,700 fires (specifically about 3,719 fires) from the beginning of May until July 20, 2026, of which about 1,670 fires broke out since July 8 alone.
If you look at North Africa (Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya) during the summer of 2026, the picture appears as follows:
Algeria was the most affected; during the peak of the crisis, authorities recorded more than 160 fires in a short period, while dozens of fires remained active across about 15 provinces.
In a single day, Civil Protection recorded 147 fires within 24 hours, covering forests, jungles, and scrublands.
Six people were killed, residents were evacuated, and a hospital in the Annaba province housing over 100 patients was evacuated due to approaching flames.
Satellite data (GDACS) showed that one of the largest fire waves consumed about 11,068 hectares and affected thousands of residents.
The most affected provinces were El Tarf, Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Béjaïa, Tizi Ouzou, Bouira, Souk Ahras, Guelma, alongside remaining western provinces.
Morocco, although the situation was less severe than in Algeria, also experienced an active season.
It recorded 310 forest fires from the beginning of 2026 until July 20.
Fires destroyed approximately 1,850 hectares.
The number of fires increased by about 32% compared to the average of previous years, while the burned area decreased by about 30% as a result of rapid intervention.
The most prominent areas were Souss-Massa, Al Haouz, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, and certain mountainous areas and northern forests.
Tunisia experienced a fire wave that coincided with a heatwave exceeding 45°C.
About 90 fires were recorded.
Three fires remained active and roughly 10 fires were in the cooling phase during the peak of the crisis.
The most important areas were Jendouba, Bizerte, Béja, Siliana, Kasserine, Tabarka, and the border regions with Algeria.
This confirms that the New World Order did not begin to appear to the eye without bringing with it a curse that burned everything natural and innate.
As for the Middle East, it is today an arena where the interests of multiple powers intersect, each with its own calculations and strategies. Major and regional powers compete for influence, corridors, resources, and alliances, while many Arab states turn into arenas for this conflict rather than active participants in it. Amidst this, the Palestinian cause remains one of the most impactful issues in the region, continuing to shape a fundamental part of regional tensions alongside other political, security, and economic factors.
The question remains—one that requires no conspiracy theories as much as it requires courage in recognizing reality:
How can a nation aspire to protect its borders when it is incapable of protecting its forests?
And how can it speak of strength when it still begs for firefighting tools with the arrival of summer every year?
Nations do not collapse on the day of war alone; they collapse on the day the citizen becomes a spectator, the official a justifier, and national wealth a passing news item, while fires continue to consume trees... until, ultimately, they reach the human being himself.
The Middle East today lives through a web of crises rather than a single war. The United States seeks to protect its interests, bases, and allies; Israel focuses on protecting itself and confronting what it considers a security threat from Iran and its allies; while Iran works to reinforce its deterrence and regional influence. As for the agent Gulf states, most seek to avoid having their territories turned into a direct confrontation arena, while some continue to rely on the American security umbrella.
In light of this scene, the "Strait of Hormuz" remains one of the most sensitive "maritime corridors" in the world today, and any confrontation within it remains capable of transcending the region's borders to affect the global economy and energy markets, while the cowardly citizen in the Middle East remains the party most exposed to the consequences of this extended conflict.
The Middle East has become the most complex geopolitical conflict arena in the world; from the Arabian Gulf to the Red Sea, from Gaza to southern Lebanon, and from Iraq and Syria to the Strait of Hormuz, military, economic, and political interests are confined within the boundaries of regional and international powers, to the point where any spark can set the entire region ablaze.
Today, three main allied parties stand together against the Arabs at the heart of the confrontation: the United States, Israel, and Iran. Yet behind this confrontation stands a broad network of Gulf and Arab states heavily armed with military bases, alliances, and maritime corridors, making every state in the region a conspiring party, directly or indirectly, in this conflict.
These tensions intertw, starting from the Arab-Israeli conflict and its accompanying repeated escalations, reaching the war in Yemen with its regional overlaps, the Syrian arena with its multitude of local and external powers, as well as tensions between Iran and several Gulf states, which reflect on complex security and political files.
In the midst of this, the Palestinian cause remains one of the most influential issues in the region, while the project of forming "Greater Israel" continues as a fundamental part of regional tensions, joined by the promotion of the "Abrahamic Religion," which represents another dimension complicating the political, security, and economic scene in the region.
In the states of North Africa, the homeland may burn, yet everything seems "normal"... for the most important thing is that the air conditioners work, the phones are charged, and the football matches continue!
Forests are consumed by flames, agricultural lands disappear before tongues of fire, and steppes have turned to ash.
Of course, what is happening is no mere coincidence, yet the questions remain far larger than the answers:
Where is the perpetrator? And how do the traces of whoever burns thousands of hectares disappear as if he were a ghost unseen by a human eye, undetected by a camera, and unreachable by security apparatuses?! Is that plausible?!
As for the citizen who decided to liberate Palestine one day, he has settled for the role of a spectator; following the news from behind a screen, commenting, becoming angry for a few minutes, then returning to his life as if the burning trees do not supply him with air, or the perishing animals are not part of his homeland's wealth, or the land turned to charcoal is not land for his future generations!
Then they speak to you of readiness!
If a state in times of peace is incapable of protecting a tree, uncovering who ignites fires, or even providing firefighting aircraft, what will its condition be if it finds itself in the future facing a real war? How will it stand against armies armed with technology and highly advanced weapons, while it currently struggles through prayer to extinguish a fire in a forest of limited area?!
And then, the tragedy lies in the exposure of an entire people's reality: men fleeing in panic seeking individual survival, and states exhausted by years of neglect finding themselves without preparation, equipment, or capacity to endure, making the end a resounding fall that may require only a few moments to collapse all that people once thought was an impregnable fortress.
For homelands do not fall on the day war begins; they fall on the day their burning in the media becomes a mere passing news item, and defending them becomes a matter where every rich individual believes the responsibility lies upon the poor individual.
Current geostrategic repercussions in the Middle East and North Africa region indicate a state of structural erosion in the concept of Arab national security. On the Gulf stage, ongoing tension and extended missile confrontations are read as a reflection of regional hegemony projects, strategies of geographical penetration, and proxy influence wars, amidst estimates pointing to a decline in traditional deterrence capabilities and strategic exposure to the cost of military tension and its impact on maritime navigation and energy economies.
Meanwhile, military escalation continues in the Palestinian territories and Jerusalem within a strategy of excessive force and asymmetric confrontation, reflecting the failure of international and regional mechanisms to enforce ceasefire equations, amidst questions regarding the nature of secret expansionist goals and the redrawing of geopolitical maps in the region.
At the same time, North African lands burn with thousands of fires, while firefighting campaigns are almost absent from the scene, at a time when money flows into the pockets of traitors like a sweeping torrent. Simultaneously, major losses affecting security, society, and national dignity recede into the background.
Israel continues to expand its scope of control, regional conflicts worsen, and hotspots of fire and tension extend to more than one Arab arena, leaving behind destruction, displacement, and suffering. Confrontations between the land of Persia escalate behind the walls of the Roman nation, and their repercussions affect the security and stability of the Arab region where they creep like locusts upon its lands, amid a regional scene characterized by the total absence of Arab Muslim men during crises.
How astonishing! Arab Muslim men pant behind women, linger behind nations in progress, follow behind animals in instinct, remain behind bars in prisons, cross behind seas seeking migration, and stay behind backwardness, content with ignorance and submissive. A generation that belittled sanctities, celebrated sexual perversion, worships drugs, and runs after lusts and pleasures with the momentum of a pig rushing toward filth.
The Arab scene today resembles a market crowded with contradictions: in the Gulf, towers and skyscrapers embrace the sky, while the region imposes continuous security and political challenges. In Egypt, the clamor of public debate alternates with the weight of economic and social burdens. In the Levant, the smell of gunpowder outweighs the scent of jasmine, after wars overburdened the citizen and the holy land. In Iraq, there is discord, hypocrisy, conflict, male intercourse, killing, and destruction.
Even the Kingdom of Morocco stands between promising sexual horizons and major Zionist occupation potential, and between challenges delaying the conversion of promises into achievements. Calls for Arab solidarity resonate while political disputes continue to weaken joint action. Speeches supporting the Palestinian cause are loudly delivered in public, while deliberately collapsing behind the table, at a time when practical Arab positions remain a subject of endless debate and disagreement. Slogans of freedom and justice are raised falsely and embellished with religion, just as talk of fighting corruption continues, while nepotism and weak governance remain among the most prominent challenges hindering pathways of development and reform in several states.
It is as if the audience sits in an international circus; tongues of flame rise while many settle for watching. Politicians exchange roles on the stage of events, the media fills the air with noise, while the Zionists continue to wage wars, occupations, conflicts, and sow discord among states and peoples, harvesting the lives of the innocent and depleting homelands in the name of Solomon's Temple and Semitism.
Most strange of all is that the nomads' habituation to tragedies almost transforms them into a familiar scene, to the point where burning becomes like a cinematic show, not a tragedy threatening humanity and civilization. Arabism today is in dire need of an awareness that precedes emotion, a wisdom that precedes conflict, and a will that prioritizes the public interest over narrow interests.
The question remains open: Will a day come when societies review their paths and realize that the fire burning in their forests, cities, and hearts is a reflection of the actions of peoples who mock God, the messengers, the Scripture, and science?
To what level of decline has Arabism arrived?
Generations live a struggle between values and lusts, identity and the pressures of globalization, and between the "New World Order" project and civilizational construction alongside preoccupation with a culture of consumption and drooling after momentary pleasures. In the midst of these changes, nomads master the art of generating debate over marginal issues, while major questions regarding renaissance recede. They mount the stands with shouts of anger over a match, while major tragedies pass like a fleeting weather forecast.
Political reports indicate that nations that substitute strategic planning with futile debate, becoming preoccupied with marginal arguments at the expense of crucial issues, gradually expose themselves to losing their ability to influence the course of history. At a time when nations race toward developing artificial intelligence, space economy, advanced technologies, and exploring new horizons for human existence beyond Earth, part of the Arab discourse remains immersed in what lies beneath a woman's clothing, how many women a man needs to satisfy him in bed, secondary feminist-masculinist disputes, and lustful conflicts that drain effort and time without producing an inclusive civilizational project.
The scene becomes increasingly paradoxical when singing the praises of ancestors becomes a substitute for creating the glories of the present; the heritage of ancestors is a historical trust and a responsibility demanding creativity, action, and the renewal of the sources of strength. For nations preserve their standing through their ability to transform their historical legacy into a driving force to build an educated generation endowed with morals, manufacture knowledge, and produce manhood.
